Then I saw all of the cool ink transfers that people were doing online with acetone & I wanted to try it. However, I have not yet found a copy machine that has the right ink. I was getting frustrated & I wanted my new labels done now! :) So after some digging I found some sticker paper for my printer & took this graphic from The Graphics Fairy:
I resized it, printed, cut it out, and stuck it on my Borax jar...I think my Laundry room looks better already!
So of course my coffee jar needed an update...this is a scan of a vintage coffee label:
...and here are more jars (with the Pottery Barn number treatment that everyone is doing) holding a bunch of my sewing supplies. Most of them are vintage (the sewing supplies not the jars) from my grandmother's stash.
